There is no denying the significant position that Cartier now holds in both the vintage and modern watch worlds. As a result, the brand’s diffusion line, Must de Cartier, has become increasingly sought after by collectors looking to capture all the vibes of Cartier but at a more accessible price point.
Today, we have a rarer Ref. 2414 on hand. The case is made of 925 silver (most Tanks from these years were silver-cased and then gold-plated) and features a rare date function.
The 33.5 x 25 mm case is in strong condition with a blue cabochon-setting crown, but the showstopper is the white dial. It’s super cool, with a slight “pie-pan-esque” area around the hands' axle, featuring the “double C” Cartier logo, unusual light gray Arabic numerals, and a train track minute track to top it off!
The quartz-driven movement has been fully checked by our watchmaker, with a new battery fitted. We selected a nice Bulang and Sons strap, which we believe is a perfect match; furthermore, an original Cartier folding clasp is included.
We always have a good selection of Cartiers, so get in touch, and we will help you find your dream example!
